MIBI was not built by a software studio that read about construction. It was built inside an active Dutch construction company that needed it to survive.
Meestersinbouw runs residential renovations, commercial maintenance and industrial projects across Limburg and the wider Netherlands. By the late 2010s the office was drowning in paper time sheets, lost receipts, twelve overlapping WhatsApp groups, and a crew that spoke five languages between them. Every Friday afternoon disappeared into reconstructing the week.
We tried the off-the-shelf options. Most were built for offices, not building sites. The mobile apps required a degree to use. None spoke Polish or Romanian. None linked time → expenses → invoicing in a single flow. So we built MIBI for ourselves.
It worked. So well that other contractors started asking what we used. MIBI is now its own product — same software we use to run our own jobs, available to your business. Every feature is shaped by what works on a real construction site, not what looks good in a slide deck.
